Interested in seeing what the SCUBA hype is all about? Enroll in a half-day TRY SCUBA course to see if diving is for you. Ages 10+

BEGINNER

OPEN WATER SCUBA DIVER

The first step in becoming a certified SCUBA diver. This qualification is internationally recognised and valid for life. Learn to safely dive to depths of up to 18m in this 3-4 day course. Ages 14+

FOR THE KIDS

JUNIOR OPEN WATER SCUBA DIVER

Kids aged 10+ can enroll in a Junior Open Water course. Dive to depths of 12m. Automatically upgrade to Open Water SCUBA Diver when they reach age 14.

DIVEMASTER

The NAUI Divemaster rating is the highest NAUI leadership-level certification with the exception of Instructor. The program is designed to train experienced and knowledgeable divers to organize and conduct enjoyable open water dives for certified divers.

NAUI INSTRUCTOR (ITC)

The NAUI Instructor Training Course (ITC) is designed to train and qualify NAUI Instructor member applicants. During the course candidate instructors learn effective methods to teach skin and scuba diving in compliance with NAUI diving course standards.

SPECIALTY

FIRST AID FOR PROFESSIONAL DIVERS

NAUI’s Diving First Aid for Professional Divers (DFA Pro) course is designed for commercial, professional, aquarium and scientific divers, providing first-aid knowledge and skills specific to these work environments. It also provides rescue management skills for dive masters and dive instructors.

You've come to the right place! You can start your diving career with an Open Water SCUBA Diver course. This is the first step to becoming a certified diver. 

Yes! You can join a half-day TRY SCUBA course. This is a non-certification course that introduces you to SCUBA diving, so you can see how you like it! You will learn the basics of diving, how to kit up your gear, then go for a trial ocean dive in our local training site next to the KAAI 4 Braai Restaurant

In order to earn money as a SCUBA diver, you will need to become a Divemaster. This is the first professional certification in your SCUBA diving career. Then it is on to Instructor! Check out our internship for more details. 

Each course has different requirements which means a different timeline. Most beginner/advanced courses can be completed in 3-4 days, but it will also depend on the individuals schedule and skillset.
